The journey of four writers on the road to publication
We are four writers — two Brits and two Canucks — journeying together on the road to publication. Since we started this blog, two of us have made it!
Synopsis:
Agnes Frump has spent every moment of her thirty-one years outrunning her horrendous moniker. But push-up bras and hip music producing jobs can’t undo her orphan Annie red hair and Alfalfa freckles—nor can they make her best friend, Dillon McKenzie see her as anything but his buddy.
A midnight walk, a fateful fall, the discovery of a magic lamp, and Aggie's priorities shift...click to read more.
Awarded 4 1/2 stars by The Romance Studio, a 5-book rating from The Long and Short of It blog, and voted "Favorite Book of the Month" and featured on the Find a Great Romance blog for the month of July.

Synopsis:
On the surface Angelo Emiliano looks more like a golden surfer boy than a billionaire property tycoon, but beneath his blond, bronzed exterior lies a heart of ice. Abandoned as a baby and brought up in a convent orphanage, he has fought for everything he owns. The only people Angelo hates more than idle, privileged aristocrats who have had everything handed to them on a plate are idle, misguided eco-warriors who go out of their way to make his life difficult. As far as rebellious Lady Roseanna Delafield goes, this is fairly bad news...click to read more.

Well, that's the price you pay for being a published writer, India. In other words, if you're looking for sympathy, I'm sure you know where to find it in the dictionary.
That said, and to show that I'm really a very nice person indeed and not at all the colour of grass, here are some words to replace all those 'thingies' -'wotsits' (very tasty cheesy snacks), 'doo-dahs' (once famous dog band) and 'didgeridoos' (Australian musical instrument). Hope this helps.
Ooh, I do like didgeridoos - maybe 'cause it sounds like kangaroos?
India my love, take a deep breath, and know that you can do this. It's not roadkill - and even if it was, some people love roadkill, it's a delicacy in certain American states...they're the same places that have a tradition of marrying your cousin, and playing a banjo, but...wait...wait a minute, this isn't helping, is it?
Let me try again:
India my love, take a deep breath and know that you can do this. You really can, honest. Eat loads and loads of chocolate to keep up your strength, drink a lot of wine because it helps your heart, and realize that you are a wonderful, incredible author and person and anything you set your mind to, you can accomplish with flair, wit and an elegant toss of that feather boa.
Hang in there, India, your fans are eagerly awaiting your newest tale. I'm also wondering if the next hero will be dark or fair?
I like the sound of wotsits and doo-dahs. I tend to leave my pages littered with !! or ... marks which honestly doesn't sound half as much fun as wotsits. I'll have to try the wotsits and doodahs next time.
India, it always seems worse than it really is when that deadline is looming. But I'm sure you've done a wonderful job with it and truly, there are sure to be lots of gems hiding in the dust from the roadkill aftermath. They'll sparkle when you do the read-through. As everyone said, hang in there! You're doing great. :)
I will trade you 2069 'something-somethngs' for your 'thingies'. It's really a very good deal. A savings of 1403!
Yes, Brown. I'm writing today :)
Thanks girls (sniff, sniff)
Have just stopped work and poured a welcome glass of wine. Lovely to hear all your words of wisdom and support. Am utterly brain dead. No energy left even for youtube hero research, which has to be a very bad sign.
Oh well. Tomorrow (as Scarlet whatsit-- or wotsit-- said) is Another Day.
