We are four writers — two Brits and two Canucks — journeying together on the road to publication. Since we started this blog, two of us have made it!
Synopsis:
Agnes Frump has spent every moment of her thirty-one years outrunning her horrendous moniker. But push-up bras and hip music producing jobs can’t undo her orphan Annie red hair and Alfalfa freckles—nor can they make her best friend, Dillon McKenzie see her as anything but his buddy.
A midnight walk, a fateful fall, the discovery of a magic lamp, and Aggie's priorities shift...click to read more.
Awarded 4 1/2 stars by The Romance Studio, a 5-book rating from The Long and Short of It blog, and voted "Favorite Book of the Month" and featured on the Find a Great Romance blog for the month of July.

Synopsis:
On the surface Angelo Emiliano looks more like a golden surfer boy than a billionaire property tycoon, but beneath his blond, bronzed exterior lies a heart of ice. Abandoned as a baby and brought up in a convent orphanage, he has fought for everything he owns. The only people Angelo hates more than idle, privileged aristocrats who have had everything handed to them on a plate are idle, misguided eco-warriors who go out of their way to make his life difficult. As far as rebellious Lady Roseanna Delafield goes, this is fairly bad news...click to read more.

Nothing with my valentine tonight, as he's working. Personally, I love anything Motown or soul, Dido or Bread.
Our song is "Amazed," by Lonestar, but as for my favourite love song of all time, yikes! There's no answering that question - it all depends on my mood.
Though, I suppose Christina's "Beautiful," Cydi's "True Colours," and Dido's "This Land is Mine," (whoops, I don't know if that's the title), rank in my top 5, as they all talk about loving & respecting yourself.
And the ability to love yourself, to quote Whitney, is the greatest love of all.
Happy V-Day everybody!!
I'm going to disgustingly date myself here...anything by AirSuppy was always romantic to me.
I love Air Supply! (Or should I say 'loved', as I can't recall the last time I heard one of their tunes...)
I was also tempted to list November Rain, although the music video disturbs me.
And then there's my all-time favourite band, Alphaville, and their love songs. Now that was a long time ago too!
Current fave from the music I've been playing during this last book is 'Hands Down' by a band (not well known in the UK) called Dashboard Confessional. I love the lines
'My heart is yours, to fill or burst
To break or bury,
Or wear as jewellery,
Whichever you prefer.'
I like the image that creates...
For a bit of history and nostalgia it has to be 'Love Compared to You' by Steve Harley, for romantic mood setting I'd pick 'Kissing You' by Des'ree and then...
Well, by then I'll probably be asleep. It's been a long week.
(this is India, by the way-- Outraged to be treated this way by blogger!)
Right now my fav song is, I Want You to Want Me by Cheap Trick, which might be an oldie, but it sure is a goodie!!
Great one, Amanda. And how about Should I Stay or Should I Go?
Oh, yes, another great song, Eva. In fact I might go stick on that on my myspace profile right now!!
